# How To Play

La Plante is a collaborative "digital pet game" inspired by idle games, absurd simulation games and curious internet projects such as Twitch Plays Pokemon.

You are invited to collectively take care of a virtual plant by voting on events affecting it or its environment. Events will appear in a [dedicated channel on discord](https://discord.gg/FTAsZwHJSm). You vote by picking one of the Reaction.

A 3D model of the plant minted on the Tezos blockchain serves as a snapshot of this evolving virtual plant. The frequency and nature of this NFT will depend on the state of the project.

If the plant dies, the game ends. The NFT(s) you may have collected could be burnt.

Once the plant flourishes, you get to keep the NFT(s) it generated. Think of it as a participation trophy.

### Participants need to provide their public address before they can receive NFTs. Learn how to do so here, it's easy.
